Job Description
As an FAA Repair Station Aviation Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and inspections on a variety of aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations and company standards. Your expertise will ensure that our clients’ aircraft are safe, reliable, and ready for flight.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections in compliance with FAA regulations, manufacturer guidelines, and company procedures.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and electronics issues, providing effective solutions.
- Complete detailed maintenance records and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional service delivery.
- Stay current with industry developments, best practices, and FAA regulations.
Qualifications
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an aviation technician in an FAA repair station or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of FAA regulations and maintenance procedures.
- Proficient in using aviation maintenance software and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety and quality.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with specific aircraft types (e.g., Boeing, Airbus, Cessna) is highly desirable.
